The Arts at Birdrock
The Arts at Bird Rock is a coastal San Diego home that finally feels like them. When this family moved into their newly built house, the mid-century Scandinavian details, open floor plan, and incredible light were all in place—but something was missing: their personality and beloved art collection.
We worked closely with them to bring the home to life, selecting furnishings that felt effortless, high-quality, and built for a busy, beach-loving family. Their travels and decades of collecting art and objects became the heartbeat of the design, inspiring color, textures, and statement pieces that feel truly theirs.
The entryway, living areas, and every corner now celebrate their art, while the surrounding design supports it without competing. The result is a home that’s functional, sunlit, and personal—a space that blends coastal sophistication with the warmth, energy, and story of the family who calls it home.
