Solana Bluffs

Solana Bluffs is a modern update on a classic 1970s home, blending mid-century charm with contemporary comfort. Our client wanted a home that felt open, functional, and connected to its breathtaking south-west facing golf course and ocean views. From leveling the sunken living room to creating seamless indoor-outdoor flow, the renovation redefined how the family experiences their space.

The architecture was a dream to work with—dramatic rooflines, a double-sided two-story fireplace, and clever room-to-room connections set the stage for dynamic living. Wall cutouts and varying floor levels add playful, unexpected moments that keep the home feeling lively and unique.

The kitchen serves as the heart of the home, connecting to the dining area, living room, and exterior. A peninsula and cozy morning nook create spaces for gathering, while thoughtful circulation ensures the flow feels effortless—even on busy days.

Texture and materiality were central to the design. Quartzite with cloud-like veining, woven light fixtures, and high-variation ceramic tile bring natural warmth and visual interest. Oak floors rich with knots and grain patterns anchor the home, adding character and timeless beauty throughout.
