Rooted in Leucadia

Rooted in Leucadia is a family home redesign that balances airy openness with rich, earthy textures. When we met this family of five (soon to be six!), their first floor felt outdated and disconnected. They wanted a space that worked for everyday life while feeling warm, bold, and inviting—a home where cooking, entertaining, and relaxing could all coexist effortlessly.

Extending the kitchen into the morning room enhanced flow and functionality. A spacious island became the heart of the home for family meals and meal prep, while a dedicated beverage station with a sink, refrigeration, and an awning window makes indoor-outdoor entertaining effortless—from morning coffee to evening cocktails on the patio.

Organization meets style in the laundry and entry zone. Designed with storage for all four kids, the space keeps life running smoothly while maintaining the home’s light, airy, and playful vibe. Thoughtful materials, natural textures, and subtle design details make every corner feel intentional, comfortable, and ready for the family’s daily rhythm.
